CarefreeIT, supporting our community

We take pride in giving back to the local community by supporting non-profits and local charitable organizations within The Region of Waterloo.  This week we are proud to support The United Way of Kitchener Waterloo & Area by participating in our annual Workplace Campaign, to raise money and awareness as we collaborate on their vision, to strengthen our community.  The theme this year is, "Express Yourself!"

At CarefreeIT our leadership team is dedicated to helping our clients, our employees, our business partners and our community.  That is why this week, we have set the goal of raising $500 to assist the United Way of Kitchener Waterloo & Area as they create meaningful changes in our community by funding a variety of different programs, services and initiatives.

If you or someone you know needs help 211 is a great place to start.  For more information, please visit:

Winners of 2016 Consumer Choice Award

We are very proud to have been selected as the 2016 Consumer Choice Award winner in the "Computer Managed Services" category in the Kitchener-Waterloo region.

The Consumer Choice Award (CCA) recognizes and promotes local business excellence in all major cities across Canada. Winners are selected by two groups of consumers — from the general public and from the business community — via an open-ended survey. This year was the first year the awards have been brought to the Kitchener-Waterloo area. We're very honoured to have been the first company to have won in the region for our category!

Want To Dispose of Old Electronics AND Get Free Pizza?

Would you like to dispose of your old electronics AND get a free slice of pizza? Bring your old or broken cellphones, cameras, iPods/MP3 players and gaming consoles to a participating Pizza Pizza store by April 30th and you'll receive a free slice of pizza. All devices will be safely recycled through one of Pizza Pizza's e-waste recycling partners or donated to Children's Miracle Network.

According to Pizza Pizza, e-waste accounts for 70% of overall toxic waste in landfills and each Canadian throws away 45 lbs of e-waste annually. 80-85% of electronics are also improperly disposed of, which can release harmful toxins into the air.

Help support the proper disposal of e-waste by bringing your old electronics to a Pizza Pizza store. Learn more:
