Between September 11 and September 17, 2013, an unauthorized third party gained access to sensitive Adobe Systems customer information through sophisticated attacks on the company’s network. Adobe believes that the party was able to take customer names, e-mail addresses, payment card expiration dates, encrypted payment card numbers and other information from its systems. In addition, the party used Adobe’s systems to decrypt some payment card numbers.
Adobe is currently working with its partners, including financial institutions that process customer payments for Adobe, and law enforcement to help protect its user accounts. You can read more about the incident here.
If you're an Adobe customer, we recommend that you regularly monitor your account statements for incidents of fraud or theft, and report any suspicious activity immediately to your financial institution.
